Actual footage or short films can be included in and considered as a video presentation.
To make a video presentation, it is important to coordinate rehearsal time with the presenter prior to the shoot. Rehearsing will make sure that the presenter is comfortable with the presentation and with being in front of the camera or audience. Consider how long the presentation should be and create an ordered list of all the shots needed. Categorizing them into specific groups will make it easier to shoot the entire presentation. Make sure that the person being filmed never moves partially out of frame by marking the floor where she/ he will be standing. It’s alright to record multiple takes of each shot and check if all shots have been covered. Video presentations should be interesting and never be longer than absolutely required. Once the video is edited, gather feedback and re-edit if necessary.
